Alan is a designer, chef & environmentalist with an eye for detail. A graduate in architecture from the University of Waterloo with international project experience, his career has crossed into hospitality and back with practical knowledge as a chef and commercial kitchen designer. Alan's multi-disciplinary skill-set brings a uniquely versatile approach to any project.

Dedicated to wellness and the environment, in 2020, Alan was selected for the first class of MAD Academy in Copenhagen, for Environment and Sustainability. He holds a Healthier Materials and Sustainable Building Certificate from Parsons School of Design, and is currently pursuing Living Future Accreditation with the ILFI.

& INTERIORS

Detailed architecture outside and in, with passive design principles and healthy interior finishes. These projects are thorough and resourceful, contextually informed, and aim to better connect people with their spaces.

A porch conversion, loft conversion, modern interior updates and complete home renovations, mostly in Toronto and area.


As a kitchen consultant, guiding clients through equipment selections, optimal layouts and planning work flow strategies tailored to each style of business BOH and FOH.

Production bakeries & commissaries, independent cafes & restaurants, both new businesses & expanded operations.
